The course will help you to recognise a disease and determine an appropriate course of action to initiate, in order to obtain a diagnosis.

The goal of this interactive course is to refresh one's knowledge on ASF, focussing on the main points that will help the fight against the disease in case of an ASF outbreak. 

Better Training for Safer Food is a Commission training initiative covering food and feed law, animal health and welfare and plant health rules. It trains Member State and candidate country national authority staff involved in official controls in these areas. Training is also organised specifically for third, particularly developing country participants so as to familiarise them with EU requirements. 

The EpiCentre at Massey University, New Zealand, is the largest veterinary epidemiology training and research centre in Australasia, and is widely considered to be one of the leading groups in the world. 

The European Programme for Intervention Epidemiology Training (EPIET) aims to create a network of highly trained field epidemiologists in the European Union (EU), strengthening public health epidemiology workforce at Member State and EU level. Current EPIET alumni are providing expertise in response activities and strengthening capacity for communicable disease surveillance and control inside and beyond the EU.
